Construction Plan Review Comments
Dear Mr. Kostial:
The City of Coppell has reviewed the plans for the referenced development and fined them to be in
general compliance, with the exception of the following minor items:
Plat
]. Include copy of plat in plans.

] . Where is the future paving?
Water Plan
] . Show the fire line and the double check on water plan.
2. Place a fire hydrant on the north side of the box culvert.
3. Place a valve in between the fire hydrant and the Cul-de-Sac.
4. We are concerned with the water line freezing being only 8" above the box culvert. We would
prefer going underneath the box.
Once these minor changes have been made, please submit revised copies for the City Engineer's stamp.
The City of Coppell requires three sets of final construction plans for its use; your office should submit as
many additional sets for stamping as is necessary for construction operations. All contractors and
subcontractors onsite must have a copy of the plans approved by the City ofCoppell along with a copy of
the City's standard construction details.
All fees must be paid prior to release of this project for construction. The City charges a 2% inspection
fee for all private construction outside the building's footprint. This includes dirt work, paving, storm
drains, water lines, sewer lines, drainage pipes, etc. that are private. For all installations in the public
right-of-way or easement, the City charges a 4% fee. A check for inspection fees made to the City of
Coppell should be submitted to this office along with the Construction Development Permit Application
and a copy of the Construction Site Notice. For your convenience a spreadsheet is attached to the permit
application for use in calcu]ating the inspection fees. A copy of the contract(s) should be attached for
