The track is owned by DART and the city has no control over the usage of the track, nor can the city stop DART from
using the track. DART does have plans to run high speed commuter trains (or some variation of train) on the tracks in
the future. The exact time frame is unknown.
There is a note on the face of the plat which reads "The plat of property depicted herein is adjacent to a rail line owned
by Dallas Area Rapid Transit and may be utilized as an active transit line." The intent of the note was to alert future
owners that they were adjacent to a rail line that would be used in the future. I do not know the law about if a builder
has to notify future owners, but it was the intent of the note on the plat.

My name is Ram Konara and I am Broker with Texas Realty Experts. I have 2 clients who are interested in
buying new Home at Chateaus of Coppell build by Toll Brothers. But they are worried about the Railway
Track that it might be used by Dart Rail in future or there will be more tracks along this way
Please let me know if there are any plans from the city to allow the Dart Rail to run along the Tract that is
adjacent to Chateaus of Coppell. If the city has plans do the builder has to notify the prospective buyers about
the Dart Rail
