Construction Plan Review Comments
The City of Coppell has reviewed the referenced plans and has the following comments to offer:
Utilitv and Drainae:e plan
I. Specify how the service tap will be done, if open cut, pavement repair should follow the City of
Coppell standards. FDC should be 4".
2. Y Oll are proposing to tie into a private storm drain system, you will need to get approval and an
agreement from the CISD. You may also tie into TXDOT's storm drain system with their approval.
3. The City of Coppell requires a clean out where the sewer becomes private.

4. Remove the details.that are generic, reference the City ofCoppell standard details and
specifications. Leave in only site specific details. The contractor is required to have a copy of
our details on site at all times.
The City of Coppell has reviewed the revised plans for the referenced addition and with the
comments above addressed they will be approved.
The City of Coppell requires three sets of final construction plans for its use; your office should
submit as many additional sets for stamping as is necessary for construction operations. All
contractors and subcontractors onsite must have a copy of the plans approved by the City of
Coppell along with a copy of the City's standard construction details.
All fees must be paid prior to release of this project for construction. The City charges a 2%
inspection fee for all private construction outside the building's footprint. This includes dirt
work, paving, storm drains, water lines, sewer lines, drainage pipes, etc. that are private. For all
installations in the public right-of-way or easement, the City charges a 4% fee. A check for
inspection fees made to the City of Coppell should be submitted to this office along with the
Construction Development Permit Application and a copy of the Construction Site Notice. For
your convenience a spreadsheet is attached to the permit application for use in calculating the

inspection fees. A copy of the contract(s) should be attached for verification purposes. If you
