State St. Garland, TX 75040 RE: Denton Creek Nursing Home Addition Construction Plan Review Comments The City of Coppell has reviewed the referenced plans and has the following comments to offer: General- 1. Widen the western most driveway entrance. 2. Verify that the utilities crossing city of lrving"s water easement is acceptable with the city of Irving. Utility Plan- 3. The water meters should be placed in an easement. 4. Move the fire hydrant on the north side of the property to the landscape area on the north side of the fire lane. 5. The FOC should be a 4" line. 6. Fix the call outs for the sanitary sewer. Show the profile for the sanitary sewer main. Storm Drain- 7. Show the HGL on your profiles. 8. Show the length of pipe on your profiles. 9. Show the normal water surface elevation and the 100 year tlood elevation on the profiles. 10. Depending where the outfall is related to the normal water surface elevation you may need piers on the headwall. Riprap will need to be provided for the outfall. The veloci ty at the outfall may require dissipaters. 11. Provide more detail on the headwalls. 12. Check the profiles and the pavement grades. 13. Provide the type of inlet at the western most driveway entrance. Will it be a traffic rated grate inlet? Will it be adequate to accommodate the run-off? Erosion Control - 14. Provide erosion protection while constructing the storm drain to the creek. 15.
