Re: Traffic Calming Cushion
Dear Meadowglen Circle Resident:
The City of Coppell has received a complaint concerning speeding in the alley, east of
Meadowglen Circle. In 1979, City Council passed Ordinance No. 203 "making it
unlawful to operate a vehicle on any publ ic alley at a speed greater than 10 miles per
hour."
Due to the citizen's concern, the city is soliciting your participation in completing the
enclosed survey. We require 75% approval of the total number of surveys mailed to
residents in order to proceed with the installation of the "traffic calming cushion" in the
alley, east of Meadowglen Circle. The attached exhibit shows the approximate location
of the "traffic calming cushion" and residents receiving the survey.
Please complete the "comments" section on the survey with any questions or concerns.
