Dear Resident:
At the June 9, 2009 City Council meeting a contract was awarded to JRJ Paving, LP to
reconstruct South Coppell Road from Bethel Rd. to its intersection with Southwestern Blvd.
The contractor's notice to proceed with construction is dated July 15, 2009. This letter is to
inform you about the project and to assure you that maintaining access to your property is
one of our main concerns. The portion of Coppell Rd. from Southwestern to 400 feet south
of Bethel will be closed during construction, however, access to your property will be
maintained.
The project is designed to replace the 24-foot wide asphalt street with a 37-foo.1 wide
concrete street with improved drainage, utilities, a new sidewalk on both sides of the
road, improved lighting, and approximately 130 on-street parking spaces. The contractor,
JRJ Paving, LP, bid the proj ect time as 210 calendar days.

Dear Business Owner or Occupant:
At the June 9, 2009 City Council meeting a contract was awarded to JRJ Paving, LP to
reconstruct South Coppell Road from Bethel Rd. to its intersection with Southwestern Blvd.
The contractor's notice to proceed with construction is dated July 15,2009. This letter is to
inform you about the project and to assure you that maintaining access to your property is

At the July. 14th City Council meeting, we will request approval to close Coppell Road from
400 feet south of Bethel Rd. along its entire length to Southwestern Blvd. If this request is
approved, all access to the building at 815 S. Coppell Rd. will be off Bums Street from
Freeport Parkway for the duration of the project.
The project is designed to replace the 24-foot wide asphalt street with a 37-foot wide
concrete street with improved drainage, utilities, a new sidewalk on both sides of the
road, improved lighting, and approximately 130 on-street parking spaces. The contractor,
JRJ Paving, LP, bid the project time as 210 calendar days.
