Construction Plan Review Comments
The City of Coppell has reviewed the referenced plans and has the following comments to offer:
General-
I. Label the cover sheet to match the plat name.
2. Include the Engineering firm's ID number on the plans.
3. Remove the contact information for Scott Latta and Ken Griffin. You can include the storm,
sewer, and water utilities and use "Engineering Department" as the contact.
4. Provide the corrected plat.
5. Remove the general notes sheet from the plans, they do not match the City of Coppell's.
Include the City's general notes or reference the City of Coppell Standard Construction
Details, unless they are site specific.
6. Remove the details sheet. Reference our details. The contractor must have a copy of our
details onsite at all times.
7. Include inlet protection on the erosion control plan.
Pavine Plan-
8. See the City of Coppell standard details for paving. .
9. Who is buildng the sidewalk along Denton Tap and SH 121? It should be a 5' sidewalk and
should be shown on the paving plan.
10. Reference the City of Coppell standard details for the stamped concrete.
II. Coordinate with Lot 9, they have indicated on their plans that they will be constructing the
decellane on SH 121 and the driveway access off of SH 121.
Drainaee Plan-
12. The drainage plan does not appear to be the latest plan. Coordinate with Lot 9 and resubmit.
13. Show the offsite drainage areas, coordinate with Lot 9.
14. Submit plans to TXDOT for approval of drainage system. Provide the City of Coppell a
copy of the approval letter from TXDOT.
Utility Plan -
15. Will you need irrigation?

16. Show storm drain profiles to include the utility crossings.
17. Make sure you tie into the City of Coppell's sanitary sewer, not into Lewisville's 27" line in
that area.
Please make the necessary changes and submit these marked-up plans and two sets of revised
plans to the City for review. If you have any questions or would like to schedule a meeting to
discuss these comments, please contact this office at your convenience. Coordinate with X-AE
for drainage and paving.
