ADA Notices in the City of Coppell
For public Programs/Services and Board/Commission/Committee meetings:
The City of Coppell acknowledges its responsibility to comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990. Thus,
in order to assist individuals with disabilities who require special services (i.e. sign interpretative services, alternative
audio/visual devices, and amanuenses) for participation in or access to the City of Coppell sponsored public programs,
services, and/or meetings, the City requests that individuals makes requests for these services seventy-two (72) hours
– three (3) business days ahead of the scheduled program, service, and/or meeting. To make arrangements, contact
Kori Allen, ADA Coordinator, or other designated official at (972) 462-0022, or (TDD 1-800-RELAY, TX 1-800-735-2989).
For agendas distributed at Board/Commission/Committee meetings and for other printed materials made available to
the public:
This publication can be made available in alternative formats, such as Braille or large print, by contacting Kori Allen,

For the Arts Center programs, activities, and/or performances:
The City of Coppell acknowledges its responsibility to comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990. Thus,
in order to assist individuals with disabilities who require special services (i.e. sign interpretative services, alternative
visual devices, Braille transcriptions, and amanuenses) for participation in or access to the City of Coppell Arts Center
programs, activities, and/or performances, the City asks that individuals make requests for these services two (2)
weeks ahead of the scheduled program, activity, and/or performance. To make arrangements, please contact the Arts
Center Box Office or other designated official at 972-304-7047, boxoffice@coppellartscenter.org , or (TDD 1-800-
RELAY, TX 1-800-735-2989).
Assisted Listening Devices are available on a first-come-first-serve basis to all programs, activities, and/or
performances at the Coppell Arts Center. Please make your way to the Guest Services Desk located in the Lobby of the
Arts Center in order to reserve one. If you need any assistance, please ask the Box Office or an Usher. You will need to
provide a Government Issued ID or Major Credit Card as refundable security deposit to reserve the Assistive Listening
Device. We ask that you arrive at least 30 minutes prior to scheduled performance curtain in order to ensure one will
be available to you.
For use on Rental/Reservation Applications when a private entity utilizes one of our city facilities:
As a government entity, the City of Coppell strives to make available facilities open for public use in a manner
consistent with Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) of 1990. We hope that as you utilize our facilities,
you will find them accessible and efficient for your needs.
In compliance with the non-discrimination requirements of Title III of the ADA, a community group, non-profit entity,
or private business must facilitate, at its sole expense, any disability-related request for reasonable accommodation,
effective communication, or program modification that does not impose undue burden (significant difficulty or
expense).

A government entity has no obligation to facilitate requests for reasonable accommodations connected to an event or
activity sponsored or managed by a community group, non-profit entity, or private business that is making use of
government-owned facilities.
If you have any questions or concerns in regard to the accessibility of any City facilities being utilized by a community
group, non-profit entity, or private business, please notify the manager of that particular facility or

participation in or access to the City of Coppell sponsored work out classes and recreational activities, the City
requests that individuals makes requests for these services seventy-two (72) hours – three (3) business days ahead of
the scheduled work out class or activity. To make arrangements, contact a Recreation Center Manager, or other
