RESOLUTION NO. 2001-0424.1
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF COPPELL, TEXAS,
AMENDING, IN PART, THE MASTER FEE SCHEDULE, AS AMENDED,
BY AMENDING THE ENGINEERING FEES TO PROVIDE FOR A $250.00
PERMIT FEE FOR THE USE OF PUBLIC RIGHTS-OF-WAY; AND BY
MAKING TEXT AMENDMENTS ONLY TO VARIOUS PORTIONS OF THE
MASTER FEE SCHEDULE; PROVIDING A REPEALING CLAUSE;
PROVIDING A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE; AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Coppell, Texas, previously adopted
Resolution No. 010996.3 to provide for general and special fees and charges to be
assessed and collected by the City, as authorized by the Code of Ordinances and other
applicable codes, ordinances, resolutions, and laws; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Coppell desires to amend certain fees as
set forth therein and delete others as authorized by law;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF COPPELL, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That the "Engineering Fees" be amended by adding number 9 to provide for
a Right-of-way use access fee in the amount of Two Hundred Fifty Dollars ($250.00) for
the use of public rights-of-way, to read as follows:.

SECTION 2. That the portion of the Master Fee Schedule entitled" Sec. 3-1-15,
Tapping City Water Mains" (A) be amended by amending the text to read as follows:
"Sec. 3-1-15, Tapping City Water Mains
A. The tapping fee for each connection made by the City to the Waterworks
System shall be: .... "

SECTION 3. That the portion of the Master Fee Schedule entitled" Sec. 3-2-4,
Tapping City Sewer Mains" (A) be amended by amending the text to read as follows:
"Sec. 3-2-4, Tapping City Sewer Mains
The tapping fee for each connection made by the City to the Sewer System
shall be: ...."
SECTION 4. That the "Engineering Fees", numbers 1 through 4, number 6, and
number 8(j) be amended to read as follows:
"Engineering Fees
1. Utility Final Inspection Fee $ 50.00 each
2. Utility Reinspection Fee $ 30.00 each
3. Street Cut Permit Fee $100.00 each
4. Street Bore Permit Fee $100.00 each
6. Street Light Fee $ 293.40 per light
8. Copy Fees
(j) Blueline Copy 24" x 36" Xerox Copy
or greater $...
SECTION 5. That all provisions of the resolutions of the City of Coppell, Texas, in
conflict with the provisions of this Resolution, except as noted herein, be, and the same
are hereby, repealed, and all other provisions not in conflict with the provisions of this
Resolution shall remain in full force and effect.
SECTION 6. That should any word, phrase, paragraph, or section of this
Resolution be held to be unconstitutional, illegal or invalid, the same shall not affect the
validity of this Resolution as a whole, or any pad or provision thereof other than the part so
decided to be unconstitutional, illegal or invalid, and shall not affect the validity of the
Resolution as a whole.

SECTION 7. That this Resolution shall take effect immediately from and after its passage
as the law and charter in such cases provide.
