Dear Gary:
Thank you for taking time from your busy schedule to meet with me today. As you know
Jack in the Box has been under construction since last October 25 TH and, as we are
nearing completion, we have had to deal with a substantial amount of inclement weather
that has impaired our ability to complete our project in a timely manner.
With that being said, we understand that one of the requirements of Planning & Zoning was
to achieve completion of approximately 331 Irt. of block fencing between the Jack in the Box
site and the CISD middle school to our south. We feel that we will be completed with the 75'
that borders between the Jack in the Box and the middle school and is the responsibility of
Jack in the Box. The additional length of approximately 3311ft which is being done for the
property owner of the adjacent property to our east, although commenced, will not be
completed by our proposed opening date, which is Sunday('0-'--st0'5~ ST. due to weather
conditions. ~
The CISD architect has approved the bdck and stocked on site, footings have been
excavated and concrete poured back as of this date. We would hope to obtain a Temporary
Certificate of Occupancy, realizing of course, that other departments will have to provide
their approvals as well.

Weather permitting, we anticipate completion with all of the masonry work associated with
the subject fence approximately 30 days from January 21 ST.
