City of Coppell
Mr. Gary Sieb, A.I.C.P., Director of Planning
255 Parkway Boulevard
Coppell, Tx. 75019
Subject: Sprint Spectrum L.P. Project at Andy Brown Park
Dear Mr. Sieb,
Thank you for your assistance concerning the Sprint Spectrum L.P. telecommunications proposal located
on the land known in the City of Coppell as Andy Bro~a Park. We appreciate you and the city working
with us in trying to accommodate the growing telecommunication needs of Coppell, while at the same time
continuing to build long-term relationships in your community.
Some significant mutual benefits of growing the infrastructure with state-of-the-art, next generation PCS
wireless sen'ice:
1. Make the convenience, mobility and peace of mind of wireless phones easily available to residents.
2. Provide a means for improving public safety throughout the community with wireless technology.
3. Deliver high-quality, safe and secure communications and an array of new cutting-edge sendces to the
community.
4. Create a communication infrastructure that will support new jobs, economic grox~ and additional tax
revenues.
Mr. Sieb, you met with several representatives of Sprint Spectrum L.P. for a site walk at Andy Bro~aa Park
on 4/27/01. After that meeting, you requested additional information from Sprint Spectrum L.P. that we
have for your review today. It is our goal and hope, that this additional information will allow Sprint
Spectrum L.P. to be able to start the final preparations for meeting the requirements for filing the SUP
application with the city. The additional information attached is as follows:
1. Copy of the proposed lease between Coppell & Sprint Specmam L.P.. This of course is more of a
template and not a final offer.
2. Copy of legal description of property where proposed structure is to be located.
3. Survey showing; elevation of existing brick concessions building where AT&T's equipment is
located, elevation of existing AT&T light standard, elevation of Sprint's proposed light standard
location, existing concrete walking/jogging track shown, distinguish power & telco easements, and
distinguish the access easement from public fight of way to proposed site.
4. Cut.sheets of low profile antennas and size of proposed antennas.
Again, thank you for all your help.
S~/~ely, ~
