The PARKWOOD HOMEOWNERS ASSOCIATIONS has been contacted by a
number of residents of the Parkwood addition to express their
concerns and objections to the pending request for zoning change
on the parcels of land directly to the north and adjacent
to the Parkwood addition.
Some specific objections and concerns are:
1. The potential adverse effect on current property values
and potential resale values of the homes in Parkwood.
2. The negative security and privacy effect of two story
homes backing up to single story homes along Phillips drive.
3. The increase in traffic along Samuel, MacArthur and
potentially Phillips due to the density of residences per
acres as proposed.
4. The potential traffic and safety problems within the
proposed addition due to front entry garages, minimum set-backs,
standard residential streets and no easement between
sidewalk and street.
It is for, but not limited to, these objections and concerns
that a request for denial of this change in zoning be made.
