PD100-NR 890119NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING The Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Coppell will hold a public hearing on the 19th day of January, 1989, at 7:30 p.m., in the Coppell Town Center, for consideration of a Zoning Change, Case #ZC-516, at the request of Thomas and Katherine McHale, from (R) Retail, to (PD-SF-7), to allow for single family development, on property generally described as follows: 190 feet south of the southwest corner of Sandy Lake Road and Coppell Road. All interested citizens of the City of Coppell and other parties of interest are invited to attend this public hearing and participate in the same. Any citizen of the City or other party of interest may also express his or her opinion concerning the proposed zoning change request by letter addressed to the City of Coppell, Planning Department, P.O. It was discovered today that the notices which were mailed to all property owners within 200 feet of the above mer,tior, ed zor, ing case, contained ar, error which may have led to some cor, fusion by the surrounding property owners. It is the policy of this department to remove such zoning cases and or plats from ar, agenda should a proble~ such as this one occur, as to alleviate further confusion. I consulted with Larry Jackson, City Attorney, or, this particular issue and he reco~nrner, ded that both cases be rer,~anded to the Planning and Zoning Commission for consideration so that ali property owners ~nay express his or her opinion irs a public session. Alor, g with this request, I asked the City Attorney if he could possibly attend the rescheduled meetir~g or, January 19, 1989 due to legal issues which could not be addressed at the previous Plarm, ing and Zoning meeting ar, d aisc, any new issues which may arise. He has penciled in the date on his calendar and awaits your approval. Ir, summary, staff regrets the error which was made regarding ZC- 516. Both cases have been rescheduled to the January 19, 1989 Plant, lng and Zonir~g Commission and February 14, 1989 City Council dockets.
