I am the owner of the 12.695 acre tract fronting on
Coppell Road and adjoining the 190 acre tract for
which the rezoning is being requested.
I am opposed To the proposed zoning changes because
There is already a surplus of MF-2 land within the
city o£ Coppell.
I have been trying To sell my land for over two years
without success.
If you approve The requested zoning change,the result
will be a mammoth oversupply of MF-2 land.
I am attaching a copy of my letter of June 18, 1984
which was sen~ to you prior to the June meeting at
which this same request was supposed to be heard but
was withdrawn before the meeting.

I am opposed to the proposed zoning changes.
My property was zoned MF-1 under the prior zoning and
was rezoned MF-2 in December 1983 when the comprehensive
zoning ordinance was adopted.
I followed your rezoning ordinance adoption very closely
and was very impressed with your decisive action for
controlling the growth of the city along very positive
lines.
However, if you approve the proposed changes requested
by the SBS Venture, you will undo all the good work you
have done and thereby invite all other developers to
request wholesale zoning changes.
