I have been opposed to all such changes to the development conditions in Pecan Hollow. I remain opposed to this and all such changes for the following reasons: · The zoning rules for this development have been in place and consistently applied for all residents and developers since the beginning of this development. The owners of 325 Beechwood Lane were aware of the regulations at the time of the construction or acquisition of their home. · Enforcing the zoning regulations for all residents is important to maintaining the integrity of this development and to protecting the value of our homes and the substantial investment they represent. · One of the reasons that many, if not all, of the residents of Pecan Hollow choose to purchase a home in this neighborhood is that the zoning regulations and CC&Rs assure the preservation of the integrity of the development. Granting this change sets precedent that virtually assures future requests and approvals for change, thereby effectively eliminating the value of the regulations. Where do you draw the line? Thank you for the opportunity to express my opinion in this matter. I trust the Commissioners will uphold these development conditions for which the Commission is in place to protect by denying approval for this request. Sincerely, Frank M. Gerome
