Enclosed copies of Irving "Freeway" district
Dear Ms. Bowman:
Pursuant to our discussion last night with the members of the City
Council of Coppell wherein they asked for input for the proposed "Highway
Commercial" zoning district, I have enclosed copies of the Irving Land
Development Code, Sec. 52-25a. FWY freeway district. I have enclosed
eight copies so that each member will have something to review. Much of
the property along the south side of LBJ Freeway carries this zoning for
Irving and the developments that have occurred in this type of district
seem to be the quality and appearance the City of Coppell is interested
in having within their city.
I regret that we were unable to proceed with the Light Industrial
zoning we requested but I understand what the City is trying to achieve.
I sincerely hope that all of the legal steps can be made to have the
Highway Commercial District in place prior to the April 26, 1988 meeting
when we are once again to appear to finalize the zoning of the property.
