Req. to rezone RR spur to LIMASTERPLAN
August 18, 1988
Ms. Taryon Bowman
City of Coppell
P.O. Box 478
Coppell, TX 75019
Dear Ms. Bowman:
I am enclosing a copy of the legal description and a site plan of
the recently annexed area along the north side of Belt Line Road.
The railroad spur which is shown in green on the site plan is owned
by TU Electric, whom I represent. The only concern we have in rela-
tion to the railroad spur is that it be zoned in a manner that allows
its continued use as a railroad track.
Our understanding is that Mr. Thompson is zoning the rest of the
recently annexed property as Industrial. It is also our under-
standing that Industrial zoning allows a railroad spur. If the
above stated understanding is correct, we request that upon pas-
sage of the ordinance granting Industrial zoning on the Thompson
property, the railroad spur also be zoned Industrial.
Thank you for your help. If I can be of further assistance, please
let me know.
Sincerely,
William E. Cothrum
