Proiect Description
This project consists ora Services Compound including a primaD' facility housing Ci~' Services and Park
Administrations with shared occupancy of vehicle and equipment maintenance garage. Other facilities
with the compound include an open Secured Storage building; a combination shop and storage building
supporting street and utility departments and a Chemical Storage and Shop Building supporting the Parks 8:
Recreation Department.
Site Descril~tion
The compound is contained within a site of approximately 6.5 acres which, in turn, is contained within the
southwest quadrant of a 47-acre, currently unimproved, track owned by the City of Coppell and envisioned
as a historically oriented Park & Recreation Center for Coppell citizens.
Construction Description
All compound facilities are to be realized through new 'construction employing "tilt-up" concrete walls and
steel roof structure in response to construction economies inherent with the system. Interior finish-out will
employ metal studs with gypsum wallboard finish as a basic system.
The Desien Theme
Within the permits of budget allowances and the materials computable with that allowance, the design shall
employ form elements reminiscent of earlier Coppell architecture and the "theme" intent for future
recreational facilities envisioned for the remainder of the site.
