Box 478 Coppell, Texas 75019 972-462-0022 October 10, 1997 Mr. Ted Ragland Postmaster Grapevine TX 76051 Dear Mr. Ragland: re: DFW Trade Center In 1995 the cities of Grapevine and Coppell executed an interlocal agreement regarding land now under development as DFW Trade Center, located on the west side of S.H. 121 adjoining the south side of Denton Creek. Part of the property is in the City of Grapevine, while part is in Coppell. The two cities agreed to establish similar development standards and to divide certain municipal responsibilities. Consequently Grapevine provides water and sewer utilities to the entire development, even to the part within Coppell. Coppell provides police and fire protection to the entire development, even to the part within Grapevine. The Grapevine Post Office furnishes delivery to businesses now occupying completed building space in the Grapevine portion of DFW Trade Center. Soon there will be buildings completed in the Coppell portion. The purpose of this letter is to document and confirm our telephone conversation wherein you agreed to furnish postal delivery to buildings fronting Patriot Drive in the City of Coppell. The mailing address for businesses within these new buildings will be Grapevine TX 76051. Please let me know if there is any change in this determination. Sincerely, Pert Virtanen Assistant Director of Planning and Community Services CC: Paul Solomon, Coppell Posunaster Jim Witt, Coppell City Manager
