Attached is the check list for our response to Staff cOrnmen~s. The following is an explanation of
our position on the items we feel need further discussion at tlie meeting.
1. Removal of the front drive. This front drive is necessary to provide circulation around our
facility, Our deed restrictions call for an acoees drive to be p~vided .between all three sites along
McCarthur. At the request of you and Gary we have deleted the crossing between our site and Sonic.
The Sonic owners agree to closing the connection. The City garage .owner has also agreed to allow
closing of the connect'ion between our site and Sonic. We need the drive along the front of our building
to allow our customers to have an two egress routes as they i~ave our wash bays.
2. Dwad lilyturf, We requeSt you add this ground cover to your approved plant liSt in order to
give us a little more variation in the plant material. If you do not want this material we will simply change
to the Big blue Iilytud.
3. Landscaping on the Utility easement. We have in,ailed the harms and trees on this
easement because we felt it would make a much nicer street ,s~cape than the previously approved
landscape plan for the "Speedy Lube". The utiliflesare already installed and they are in the R.O.W. for
McCarthur. We requeSt permission to install the landscaping as shown on our plans.
4. Drying shed. We have requested that the revised irear yard be set at 10' to allow construction
of the drying shed roof over this area.
5. Landscape shortage. 'l'he common area north of City Garage was provided to make up for
landscape shortages for all three of the tracts. We ere proposing to make sut:~tanttal improvements and
upgrades to that area in conjunction with our car wash proiecti
6. Number of stories. The area over the equipment I~utlding on the front wilt be two Story for
storage/office use. The area over the wash beys will be one Story only.
