Box 478 Coppeil, TX 75019 Mark and Debbie Miller 113 Sand Point Court, re: case number ZC-591, Ashton Ridge Dear Planning and Zoning Commission: In regards to the northeast comer of Sandy Lake and Heartz, we feel it is a mistake to rezone it to SF-9. In looking over the Master Plan for the City of Coppell, there is very little land left to be built on of SF-12 or larger, although there are several areas remaining to be developed zoned SF-9. We need to have a place for owners to move into when their family outgrows, or finances enable them to move up from SF-9. It would be a shame for them to have to leave the city, and the great schools here. We particularly think this is a good area to zone SF-12. It is in the Town Center area, which is a choice location, and it is treed, which makes it highly desirable. It could make a very attractive SF-12 housing development. Hopefully, there would be less tree loss on larger lots, also. We realize that there is precious little land left to be developed for Single Family housing in Coppell. We hope you will seriously consider all ramifications of zoning this area to smaller lots, and will vote AGAINST this zoning change.
