PD120R-NR 950817 NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
The Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Coppell will hold a public hearing on
Thursday, the 17th day of August, 1995, at 7:30 p.m.; in the Coppell Town Center, for
consideration of Case No. PD-120R, Waterside, Phase II, at the request of Standard Pacific of
Texas, Inc. to change the zoning from PD-SF-9 (Planned Development-Single Family-9) to PD-
SF-9 (Planned Development-Single Family-9), on property generally described as follows: near
the northwest corner of ParkWay Boulevard and MacArthur Boulevard. The purpose of the
proposal is to reduce the number of single-story homes required. The current regulations
require that at least half the homes adjoining lots facing Greentree Lane and Meadowglen
Drive be single story. No change of this requirement is proposed. However, the current
regulations also require that at least 25% of the entire Waterside, Phase H, subdivision be
single story. The applicant proposes a reduction of that requirement from 25% to
approximately 20%. All interested citizens of the City of Coppell and other parties of interest
are invited to attend this public hearing and participate in the same. Any citizen of the City or
other party of interest may also express his or her opinion concerning the proposed zoning
change request by letter addressed to the City of Coppell Planning Department, 255 Parkway
Boulevard, Coppell, Texas 75019.
