Rylan Homes Westberry Manor SF12 to PDSF7 Zoning Change
Dear Chairman:
I currently live in the Park Place subdivision immediately north of the planned Westberry
Manor. I oppose the request requested Zoning change that will result in most of the trees
being destroyed. The Local Coppell paper estimates many trees will be destroyed if Rylan gets
to rezone this land to SF7 development. I know that we are only taking 20 - 40 Trees out of
500, but if we are to remain Tree City USA, we need to approve zoning changes with the trees
in mind. Do not allow this high-density development.
I am also very concerned about the traffic on Sandy Lake Road and Hertz by adding more
homes to this development. Many serious traffic accidents have occurred in this area. Very
few SF7 developments are approved today in Coppell, lets not start in this heavily wooded
area? Let Rylan Homes take there 2 story home development elsewhere.
Again, I along with many of my neighbors oppose the ZONING Change from SF12 to PDSF7
for the Westberry Manor located just south of Sandy Lake and East of Hertz.
