My comments are as follows: 5~/r~ d 7-7--'/c~ Address: Phone//: From the Desk of Mack McCurry Monday, March 16, 1998 ' - ...... City of Coppell Planning & Zoning Dept. P.O. Box 478 CoppelI,Tx Dear Planning & Zoning Commissioner & Participants, Regarding the proposed re-zoning of PD-166, Westbury Manor from SF-12 to postage stamp, I SAY NO!'~..~ As an adjacent homeowner and Tree Board member, I must loudly object to this proposal for many reasons with one being the most obvious; TOO MANY HOUSES! Other reasons include; increased traffic to Sandy Lake rd., what Elementary School would the children attend ? ( this also applies to the other proposed development ) and not the least, total and utter destruction of every tree on the property ( over 500 mature, native Oaks ). It is unfortunate the going rate for undeveloped land in Coppell is outrageous and it required three tracts of land to form the proposed development, but we, as a City, do not need to build additional zero-lot line homes. In closing I would like to add, "It is in the Tree Board's opinion that the proposed zoning change is not in the best interest of the community and the citizens that reside in this "Tree Citv USA". Sincerely, Mack P. McCurry Vice Chairman. Tree Board
