RE: PD-176, McMillan Estate
Dear Ms. Myers:
This letter is to inform you that Case No. PD-176, McMillan Estate, zoning change request from SF-9 and C
(Single Family-9 and Commercial) to PD-SF-9 (Planned Development, Single Family-9), to allow the
development of a single residential home on 1.49 acres of property located along the north side of Bethel
Road, approximately 120' east of Hearthstone Lane was approved by the Coppell City Council on Tuesday,
March 9, 1999, subject to the following conditions:
1) A note must be placed on the PD which clearly states the cabana, patio and pool
will not be allowed within the 100-year flood plain.
2) Acknowledgement by the applicant/property owner that if the cabana area is
ultimately developed, because of its remoteness, fire/emergency service
response could be delayed.
3) Compliance with Engineering Department comments (attached). If erosion
protection is needed, it will be provided by the property owner.
In order to prepare an Ordinance, we need to assemble appropriate documentation. When this has been completed
and Council has approved the Ordinance, a copy will be sent to you.
If you have any questions, please contact me at (972) 304-3675.
Sincerely,
I.C.P.
