RE: Case No. PD-166, Westbury Manor
Dear Madam/Sir:
This letter is to inform you that Case No. PD-166. Westbury Manor, zoning change request from SF-!
(Single Family-12) to PD-SF-7 (Planned Development, Single Family-7) to allow development of
residential lots on approximately 10 acres of property located along the east side of Heartz Road and
the south side of Sandy Lake Road was approved by the Coppell City Council on Tuesday, June 9,
subject to the following conditions:
1) If the traffic calming devices provided by the applicant are to be speed humps, they need !:c be
surfaced with brick pavers or comparable material as approved by the City Engineer.
2) The developer hire an arborist, approved by the City, for guidance in saving existing a'ees,
including the installation of orange netting around such trees to their drip line. Also, signag.:~
included in more than one language to insure the preservation of designated trees prior to
start of construction.
It was also suggested that the Ryland Group bear the expense and take the initiative to apply for a :epi. a: to,
address the situation regarding the alley way.
In order to prepare an Ordinance, we need to assemble appropriate documentation. When this has been
completed and the Ordinance has been approved by Council, a copy will be sent to you.
As a reminder, the Zoning Change sign can now be returned to the Planning Department ~or 'your 4~.,-:,-._.,,.: ~,. ....
