Texas 75063 GENERAL DESCRIPTION: Applicant is requesting approval of a zoning change to allow Commercial t)~e uses. The Comprehensive Master Plan indicates this area as a mixed-use area; identifying a mix of office, retail and STAFF RECOMMENDATION: limited commercial uses; and should be designed to re- flect the importance of the "Gateway to the City". This item was reviewed by the Planning and Zonin~ Commission on December 17. 1987, and at that meeting, the Commission recommended conditions to be placed on the zoning approval. However. since that time. the applicant has requested to modify the request from (R) Retail to (C) Commercial, on the entire property, instead of (R) Retail to (LI) Light Industrial. Staff has no objections to the request of (C) Commercial zoning.
