The preliminary drainage plan needs to show the 100-year storm event rUnoff and contour information. Also the proposed drainage areas need to be delineated the amount of runoff from each drainage area and how it will be collected. If there is not an adequate drainage system to collect the increase runoff then it may be necessary to construct an offsite drainage system and/or a detention pond. The proposed storm pipe under the new driveway must be sized to handle the 100-year storm event. The minimum size pipe allowed is 18". Water, wastewater, and roadway impact fees will be required for proposed improvements. Will the proposed onsite curbs be concrete? On the utility plans show fire hydrant locations. Fire hydrant locations must be approved by the Fire Marshal.
