Box 478 Coppell, Texas 75019 Reference: Request for Time Extension for Filing Final Plat Asbury Estates Dear :Mr. Sieb: On behalf of Western Rim Investors, L.C.C., please allow this letter to serve as a formal request for a six (6) month time extension for filing the Asbury Estates Final Plat. The Asbury Estates Final Plat was approved by the Copper City Council on April 14, 1998. The AsbuD' Estates grading, utility and paving conslxuction is being built in conjunction with The Mansions By The Lake development. The Mansions By The Lake - Phase I consl~uction (area outside the limits of the existing FEMA floodplain) began in November 1997 and all grading, utility and paving construction have been completed. Asbury Estates and The Mansions By The Lake - Phase II consm:ction (area inside the limits of the existing FEMA floodplain) could not begin until the Conditional Letter of Map Revision (CLOMR) was approved by FEMA and the City of Coppell. This approval was granted in mid Febnmry 1998. The grading work for Asbury Estates and Mansions By The Lake has been completed and Western Rim Investors, L.L.C. is currently in the process of submitting the "As-Built" Drainage Study for its Letter of Map Revision (LOM_R). Western Rim Investors, LC.C. would like to receive its Letter of Map Revision (LOMR) approval prior to filing the Final Plat. This would allow the actual filed plat to show the correct limits of the FEMA floodplain and eliminate any' confusion with the old FEMA floodplain limits.
