HISTORY: The preliminary plat which was approved by City Council on September
9, 1997 included the 315 multi-family units, the 14 single-family lots and
park area.
TRANSPORTATION: Westminster Court is a residential street contained in a 50 right-of-
way.

COMPREHENSIVE PLAN: The Comprehensive Plan shows the property to be in the
floodplain.
DISCUSSION: The City is in the process of acquiring this 10 acre site which will be used
as a future park site. The site will be accessed by a 24 foot wide driveway
extending northward from Wesuxfinster Court, a residential street located
in the Asbury Estates residential subdivision. The approved conceptual
plan for this site showed a semi-circular parking lot with 14 regular
parking spaces and 2 handicap spaces, as well as a 2,500 square foot
covered picnic area.
RECOMMENDATION TO THE PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION:
Planning Staff recommends approval of the final plat.
