Alford Media Company Profile Alford Media Com Alford Media operated as a sole proprietorship from 1984-1989 offering multi-media services including: multi-image programming, studio rental, on-site corporate meeting computer programming, slide-to-video transfers, and media project consultation. In August of 1989, Alford Media Services incorporated and expanded its services to include: audio-video equipment rental and multi-media staging. With the rapid successful growth of Alford Media Services as one of the premier corporate staging companies in the country, Alford Media Sales, Inc. was formed in June of 1991 to handle hardware sales, installations, and equipment repair. In January of 1997 Alford Media Services opened a branch office in Atlanta, Georgia in order to provide increased resources and accessibility to the numerous clients, vendors, and staging personnel along the eastern seaboard. Our Services company specializes in component video and video projection. We have one of the largest projection inventories in the industry, including CRT, LCD, and DLP projectors. Along with "traditional" rental equipment, our inventory contains component video switchers and routers, chip cameras, laser disc recorders, scan converters, videowalls, and "ballroom designed" sound systems. We stage hundreds of national events each year for major airlines, food chains, telecommunication leaders, automobile manufacturers, and the like. Among our credits are Coca Cola's 100th Anniversary, Northern Telecom's Meridian Launch, and IBM's Circle 100 and 100% Club. We have provided equipment, staging, crews and technical support in over two dozen cities simultaneously for nationwide teleconferences, as well as staffed and trucked numerous multi-city road tours. Our Sales company specializes in video projection, system integration, and design build jobs. We are the largest Barco dealer in the country and rated first in customer service. Other key manufacturers we represent include AMX, Eiki, Extron, Panasonic, Sony, and Toshiba. For the past two years Alford Media has been recognized as one of the fastest growing companies in the DFW metroplex by the Dallas 100. While some "audio-video" companies are cutting back or closing their doors, we are positioned as a technical "media" company responding to the needs of the competitive business environment of today. We are committed to providing proven technology with an eye on the future and dedicated professionals to support our clients today and tomorrow.
