I have reviewed the tentative plan of Archon Apartments and find it to be very inferior to our development. We would never be willing to invest over $30,000,000 in the Mansions by the Lake if the City is willing to rezone inferior locations that are industrial to multi-family. In fact, we would not invest this type of money in an AA super-luxury Ritz-Carlton level project such as the Mansions by the Lake if the City approves inferior projects like Archon. AS A MAJOR LANDOWNER IN COPPELL AND IN LIGHT OF THESE FACTS, WE STRONGLY OPPOSE ARCHON APARTMENTS, PD-162. Please enter our strong objection into your staff report if appropriate and our reasoning. In addition, we will be at the meeting to speak against Archon and answer questions.
