Box 478 Coppell, Texas 75019 989 Dear Mr. Davis, This will serve as a summary of our conversation during a meeting held at City Hall on July 21, 1989. Those present included yourself, Mr. Ben Dela Cruz, City of Coppell, Engineering, Mr. Don Beverlin, President, Christ Our Savior Lutheran Church and Mr. Bryce Penland, Clay Construction Company (General Contractor for Building Project). The following questions were addressed: (1) Type equipment required for utilities tap at street (fire, water, domestic). Refered to Mr. Howard Pafford, Water Utilities Supervisor and Mr. Steve Gorham, Director Public Works. (2) Cutting street versus boring under street to tap utilities. Refered to Mr. Pafford and Mr. Gorham. (3) Installing south sewer drain (R.C.P. Line Q on Civil Drawings) during Phase II Construction. It was concluded that this would not be a problem provided grading was adequate. Thank you for your time and guidance. We look forward to working with you during our building project. Blessings, Christ Our Savior Lutheran Church July 24, 1989 Mr. Howard L. Pafford City of Coppell, Water Utilities Supervisor P.O. Box 478 Coppell, Texas 75019 Dear Mr. Pafford, This will serve as a summary of our conversation during a meeting on July 21, 1989. Those present included yourself, Mr. Per Birdsall, City of Coppeil, Street Supervisor, Mr. Don Beverlin, President, Christ Our Savior Lutheran Church and Mr. Bryce Penland, Clay Construction Company (General Contractor for Building Project). The following questions were addressed: (1) Type equipment required for utilities tap at street (fire, water, domestic). It was concluded that the fire sprinkler tap (closed, alarmed system) could consist of a Hersey DDC II (or equivalent) double check/detector check valve versus a Hersey Master Metering System. The water and domestic taps will be separate and will require a UL approved double check valve. The fire hydrant along Heartz Road will also be a separate tap. (2) Cutting street versus boring under street to tap utilities. It was concluded that cutting the Street is the only alternative as the existing man hole where tap will accur is located in the middle of the street. ~ Thank you for your time and quidance. We look forward to working with you during our building project. Blessings, Christ Our Savior Lutheran Church Donald C. Beverlin President DCB/kb Copy: Mr. Larry Davis Mr. Dale Jackson
