OWENS AND ASSOCIATES Business and Residential Design Services April 20, 1989 City of Coppell 255 Parkway Blvd. Coppell, Texas 75019 Attention: Mrs. Taryon Bowman Planning and Zoning Coordinator Re: Christ Our Savior Lutheran Church Dear Mrs. Bowman, Christ Our Savior Lutheran Church is planning to begin construction shortly on the new School and Church facility on the five acre site just south of the existing building at Sandy Lake and Heartz. The original plan in the three phase project, was to build a 12,500 square foot facility to start, then add the additional school and sanctuary space in two other phases. We have met with some budget restraints and must pursue some options to reduce the initial cost of the project. The Church has asked my company to review the initial plans and evaluate where we might find these savings. They have requested to reduce the size of the phase one building to approximately 10,000 square feet. We would like to review the plans with your office in an effort to determine some options we might consider. The primary problem is the first phase of the project is so small that the site improvements required escalate the cost of the project significantly.
