Dear Mr. Phillips
The building committee for Christ Our Savior, has discussed your recent request for use of
existing church property in order to move and construct your developments brick wall. While it
is not currently in the best interest of the church to voluntarily provide your firm with this
easement, we would like to propose two options that we feel would be accommodating for both
parties
1) In exchange for the additional church property required, Ryland homes agrees to construct
additional brick & iron fencing from the north side of the new driveway cut, continuos to Sandy
Lake Road. Ryland homes and the new home owners association for the new development
would be responsible for any future repairs and ongoing maintenance of the wall.
2) Ryland homes may purchase the necessary strip of property required to construct the brick
wall. This purchase price would equal the cost of Christ Our Savior's expense to contract with a
reliable brick and wall construction company to build a new brick wall from the north side of the
new driveway cut continuos to Sandy Lake Road.
These are the two options that we would be willing to discuss in detail with representatives from
your company. If you feel that neither one of these two options can be considered, it would then
be our recommendation that Ryland Homes continue discussions with the City Of Coppell to
resolve any issues associated with proper placement of the necessary wall. Regards to any future
decisions on the placement of the wall, it is still Christ Our Savior's understanding and position
that the construction of a wall to replace our previous school yard fencing will be constructed
using the guidelines and accepted construction that was approved by the City Of Coppell.
We look forward to your response and will be available for any discussions you would like to
entertain as it applies to the options presented.
