SUBJECT: Floodplain Development Permit
RE: Coppell High School Final Plat
Dear Mr. Rutledge:
As you may know, we are in the process of executing the final plat
on the above referenced project. As per the Floodplain Ordinance
#87390, "a Floodplain Development Permit is required on all new
developments . . in floodplain management areas ...". It is also
required that i note be delineated on the final plat to be signed
by the Floodplain Administrator. Such note is already delineated
on subject final plat (see attached copy).
We are forwarding a copy of the floodplain development permit form
for your execution. Please fill out the form with the appropriate
information about this project. Once signed, please forward the
permit form back to us for final execution and issuance of
floodplain development permit number, to be shown on the final
plat.
We received the grading plans (2 blue line prints) you provided.
Based on our review of the plans and files, it is apparent that
there has been 3-5' feet (in average) of fill in the floodplain,
such an activity must be documented as per our floodplain
ordinance.
