ITEM: DFW Trade Center. Preliminary Plat. to allow development of a
3,169,095 sq. feet. distribution facility on a 180.023 acre tract of land
located in the Cities of Grapevine and CoppeH, of which 63.141 acres
are in the City of Coppell, located on S.H. 121 North, at the request of
Industrial Developments, Inc.

1. It appears as though a portion of the streets are going to be constructed in the floodplain.
I am aware that the City of Grapevine Floodplain Ordinance will prevail for the development
of this property. However, it is my understanding that they are stricter than the City of
Coppell's Floodplain Ordinance. We do not allow encroachments into the floodplain without
benefit of a study. Is it your intent to provide a study to complete the reclamation of
portions of this property so that streets can be built in what is currently shown as floodplain?
2. Will there be any type of landscape plans or tree surveys provided for this development?
3. The signature block for the floodplain administrator should be provided.
