Dear Taryon:
My client is seeking a variance to the subdivision ordinance on the
above referenced plat. Terra desires to construct a temporary cul-de-sac at
the southerly end of Fairway Drive to facilitate vehicular U-turns prior to
the construction of the railroad crossing.
This is in conflict with the stipulation in the ordinance requiring no
greater length than 600 feet for a dead end street. The temporary length of
Fairway will be approximately 700 feet to the radius point of the cul-de-sac.
