Four Seasons/Re-CS 990212MEMORANDUM TO: Greg Jones, Building Official FROM:/~Gary L. Sieb, Director SUBJECT: Four Seasons Temporary Use DATE: February 12, 1999 Greg, as we discussed, enclosed is a site plan of where Four Seasons would like to place their temporary office structure until vacating the Coppell site. I have also included a copy of the letter from Ed Anderson, Manager of Technical Services for Four Seasons agreeing to vacate this structure when the company moves, and under no circumstances will that temporary building remain for more than one year. Because the temporary building is less than 1000 square feet, is proposed to be placed at the southeast comer of the existing structure (thus, not visible from Royal Lane), meets your building codes, and will be removed well within one year, I would recommend that you issue a building permit--provided all other conditions of approval are met. Under today's codes, a site plan would have been required for development of this site. As you are aware, the Director of Planning can make administrative alterations to the site plan without public hearing. Based upon what has been submitted to me, and had the existing code been in force when Four Seasons applied for their original C.O., I would have no hesitation of granting this request without going through the entire hearing process. Four Seasons has been a good corporate citizen in Coppell, and I urge you to expedite this request If you have questions, or need additional information regarding this subject, please contact me at your convenience.
