Item 8 TRANSPORTATION: Deforest Road is to remain a local street in the thoroughfare plan requiring 50 feet of right-of-way and 27 feet of paving. SURROUNDING LAND USE & ZONING: North - vacant; LI zoning South - existing single-family; SF-0 East existing scattered single-family, light farming; A West existing scattered single-family; A COMPREHENSIVE PLAN: The Plan shows this area to be utilized for low density single-family uses. DISCUSSION: The intent of this replat is to correct an error in a course and distance on the rear of Iota 8 through 10, Block 'B' located on Castle Creek Drive. From staff perspective, this is a housekeeping matter. There are no comments. RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends approval of this replat. Again. there were none. Mayor Pro Tern Robertson moved to close the Public Hearing and approve Gibbs Station. Phase Two, Replat of Lot 35. Block "E", to change the location of a variable width floodway/floodplain easement on Lot 35. Block "E" located at the intersection of Gibbs Crossing and Creek Crossing. Councilmember Tunnell seconded the motion; motion carried 7-0 with Mayor Pro Tern Robertson and Councilmembers Alexander, Sturges, Watson, Tunnell, Mayo and Sheehan voting in favor of the motion. 26. PUBLIC HEARING:, Consideration and approval of The Estates of Cambridge Manor, Replat of Lots 8, 9. & 10, Block B, to correct an error in a course and distance on the rear of lots 8 through 10, Block B, located on Castle Creek Drive. Mayor Morton opened the Public Hearing and asked for those persons wishing to speak against this proposal. There were none. He then asked for those persons wishing to speak in favor of this proposal. Again, there were none. Mayor Pro Tem Robertson moved to approve the Estates of Cambridge Manor, Replat of Lots 8, 9 and 10, Block B, to correct an error in a course and distance on the rear of lots 8 through 10, Block B, located on Castle Creek Drive. Councilmember Alexander seconded the motion; the motion carried 7-0 with Mayor Pro Tem Robertson and Councilmembers Alexander, Sturges, Watson, Tunnell, Mayo and Sheehan voting in favor of the motion. 27. PUBLIC HEARING: Consideration and approval of Coppeil Middle School West, Preliminary Plat, to file the configuration of the present landownership of 51.8 acres of property located on Wrangler Drive in the County plat records. Mayor Morton opened the Public Hearing and asked for those persons wishing to speak against this proposal. There were none. He then asked for those persons wishing to speak in favor of this proposal. Again, there were none. Mayor Pro Tem Robertson moved to approve Coppell Middle School West, Preliminary Plat, to file the configuration of the present landownership of 51.8 acres of property located on Wrangler Drive in the County plat records, with the following conditions: (1) Roadway impact fees will be required; (2) extend 12" water line on Wrangler to west property line at the time of construction; (3) site development may require additional access roadway(s) and/or standpipe system; (4) site development may require automatic fire sprinkler system, per NFPA 13; (5) site development may require on site water supply to "loop" to existing main on Wrangler Drive; and (6) TU Electric will require easements for existing facilities for final plat. Councilmember Sturges seconded the motion; the motion carried 6-1 with Mayor Pro Tem Robertson and Councilmembers Alexander, Sturges, Watson, Tunnell and Sheehan voting in favor of the motion and Councilmember Mayo voting against the motion.
