On Thursday, June 12, 1997, the Coppell City Council approved
an ordinance requiring site plan submission to the Planning and
Zoning Commission and approval by Council prior to obtaining
a building permit for any non-residential or multi-family
residential building. Site plan submission requirements include
exterior building elevations and a color board showing
samples of exterior finishes and materials of all buildings and
signs.
To expedite your building permit, we suggest that you bring
the required exterior building elevations and color board to
the Planning and Zoning Commission meeting. You can
show them to the Commission, get their recommendation and
leave them with us to place in the file for the July 8 Council
meeting.
