The City of Coppell Board of Adjustment met on November 6th, and heard your request for
an appeal from Section 41-3-2 of the City's Zoning Ordinance, concerning aa interpretation of
the Chief Building Official, regarding zoning regulations for outside storage.
The Board voted to interpret this question as follows: Modify the decision of the Chief
Building Official to determine the meaning of the Section 25.7 of the City's Zoning
Ordinance, as applied to this case, to affirm that parking of truck trailers is open storage, but
the staging of truck trailers in the truck court, in the normal course of business, for a period
not greater than seven days, is not open storage.
