Gentlemen:
Part of the work effort of the Coppell Commercial Landowners Association (CCLA) over the past year
has been to promote the establishment of a viable street network west of Denton Tap Road. Our group
has considered numerous alternatives and factors influencing future road construction, among which
are:
-- Completion of through streets
-- Creating Iogicalthoroughfare connections
-- Coordination with State Highway plans for Highway 121
-- Ability to attain right-of-way and current development activity
-- Relative cost of construction (topography)
- Future land use and access (tax value)
-- Timing of street installation or improvement
Having studied these factors and other influences, CCLA collectively established a street layout that is
felt to represent a well-planned system. Since this pattern differs somewhat from the currently adopted
master plan, we respectfully submit this plan for the City's consideration. A large scale copy of the
proposed plan has been delivered to Mr. Doyle's office.
