Heartz Road/FP-CS 900830August 30, 1990 Memorandum To: From: Subject: Gary Sieb, Director of Planning and Community Service Frank Trando, Deputy City Manager/Finance Director~l Letter From Mike Allen, Dated August 27, 1990 As we discussed on August 30, 1990 in the meeting between you, Steve Goram and myself; item number four is my assignment, for which I will provide an Item number four states: Agreement by the City that the~ark~-- Place Addition will not be required to pay the recently approved~ and sewer impact fees, provided the Heartz Road construction ~.elect~d by the Dowdey Heartz Plan is completed on or before the~ is~ce of any building permit in Park Place. In response to that: The prevailing water and sewer impact fees will be assessed and the water impact fees will be collected at the appropriate time. The sewer impact fees will not be collected until the impact fees agreement between the MUD and the City has been initiated. In Mr. Allen's letter he indicates that they should not have to pay these fees because they have received approval of the preliminary plat. I would like to point out that this question was raised at the Council meeting when the impact fees were approved, and Council agreed that the impact fees would be effective on June 15, 1990, and would be assessed against any final plat approved after that date.
