Hager Contain/FP-CS 880901September 1, 1988 Mr. Mark Connell Connel! Development Company P.O. Box 541057 Dallas, Texas 75354-1057 P.O, Box 478 Coppell, Texas 75019 214 - 462 - 0022 RE: Regarding Hager Containers Inc. Addition Coppell, Texas Dear MArk: We have received your request to construct a main building and an accessory building not to exceed 98,000 square feet permitting V-II occupancy type II-N construction fully sprinklered as defined in the 1985 edition Uniform Building Code. After conferring with our Chief Building Official, we do not feel we have sufficient information to support this type of variance without obtaining a complete set of building plans. As we have stated previously, the City of Coppell is most eager to work with you and Mr. Hager in finding answers and alternatives to all questions and factors regarding this project. We also must reiterate that we feel that we have a significant responsibility to Mr. Hager and the future employees of this firm to ensure that they have a safe building for their business. I believe that the City Council will certainly want to know if we have attempted to explore all alternatives prior to the time it is brought to the City Council for their consideration. I, therefore, would request that you attempt to secure the building plans and establish a time in which we again could meet and attempt to address the needs for this variance and/or requirement. We wish to extend our appreciation to you and Mr. Hager for you patience in continuing to make this a successful and noteworthy endeavor for all of us. Please let me know as soon as possible when you can meet and pursue this end. Sincerely yours, ~ Alan D.
