Fire Prevention Comments on The Reserve and The Hollows at Northlake
Woodlands (cases to be heard June 18)

I forgot to include the Fire Prevention comments as attachments to the staff reports. In the case
of The Reserve, we believe that the concerns expressed have been addressed by providing a
second entrance to the subdivision from Park Road. In the case of The Hollows at Northlake
Woodlands, the layout does not respond adequately to the Fire Prevention comments. Planning
staff is suggesting that the Commission get the proposal to Council for its consideration. You
may include a recommendation, based on what you think is in the best interest of the community,
but only Council can waive Fire Code requirements.
