Shohre Daneshmand City of Coppell Post Office Box 478 Coppell, Texas 75019 Re: Thompson Tract Belt Line Road Dear Ms. Daneshmand As you requested, we have reviewed the request of JBM Consulting Engineers for information related to the traffic impact analysis for the Thompson Tract along Belt Line Road. Our response references the numbered questions and request in their October 25, 1991 letter to Gary Steb. <3) The closest intersection along Belt Line Road to this site is MacArthur Boulevard. We recommend this intersection be included in the analysis in addition to the impact of traffic movements on Belt Line Road when the railroad crossing guards are activated. (4) The City of Coppell does not have a street improvement impact fee based upon traffic impact analysis. However, improvements to Belt Line Road may be this developer's responsibility along the frontage of his tract. How does the Southwestern Railroad affect this requirement? (5) The developer should refer to the roadway functional classifications and design standards prepared by Barton Aschmand Associates for additional pertinent traffic related information. We are available to discuss this development site further at your convenience. Stnc. e~ly, / ~Gary~C. Hendricks, P.E. cc: Mr. Gary Steb, A.I.C.P. ~M~Tayron Bowman
