Re: Platting of MacArthur Blvd.
Dear Mark:
Enclosed is our application for the platting of the easterly one-
half of the MacArthur Blvd. right-of-way. As you will recall,
Terra worked with Mrs. Lesley prior to our purchase of the River-
chase tract to obtain the dedication of the westerly portion of
the right-of-way.
We are currently working with our landscape architects to develop
a comprehensive landscape plan for Riverchase, of which MacArthur
will be a part. The completion of this plan is several weeks
away. In order that we may proceed with the construction of this
major City artery, we are requesting a variance so that our plat
could be heard prior to the completion of the streetscape plan.
This will prevent us from having to throw together streetscape
plans that will result in a lower quality look or one which is
aesthetically inconsistent with the remainder of our development.
Our plans will be complete prior to the completion of paving.
Therefore, this action will not slow the actual installation of
the landscaping.

architects to prepare the landscape plans for MacArthur. They
were the landscape architects for the Valley Ranch and Lakes of Coppell.
