REVIEW:~ CITY MANAGER REVIEW: Document Name: ~MNSIONx April 21, 1999 Mr. Gary L. Sieb, A.I.C.P. Director of Planning and Community Services City of Coppell P.O. Box 478 Coppell, Texas 75019 WASHINGTON & ASSOCIATES, INC. ENGINEERS · PLANNERS Reference: Request for Time Extension for Filing Final Plat The Mansions By The Lake, Lot 1, Block 1 Dear Mr. Sieb: On behalf of Western Rim Investors, L.C.C., please allow this letter to serve as a formal request for a six (6) month time extension for filing The Mansions By The Lake, Lot 1, Block 1, Final Plat. The Mansions By The Lake, Final Plat was approved by the Coppell City Council on November 11, 1997. Phase I construction (area outside the limits of the existing FEMA floodplain) began in November 1997 and all grading, utility and paving construction have been completed and approved by the City of Coppell. Phase II construction (area inside the limits of the existing FEMA floodplain) could not begin until the Conditional Letter of Map Revision (CLOMR) was approved by FEMA and the City of Coppell. This approval was granted in mid February 1998. Phase II construction began in February 1998 and all grading, utility and paving construction have been completed and approved by the City of Coppell. Western Rim Investors, L.C.C. have submitted the "As Built" Drainage Study to FEMA for its Letter of Map Revision (LOMR). Western Rim Investors, L.C.C. would like to receive its LOMR from FEMA prior to filing the Mansions By The Lake Final Plat. This would allow the actual filed plat to show the correct limits of the revised FEMA floodplain and eliminate any confusion with the old FEMA floodplain limits. If you have any questions, please contact our office at (817) 485-0707. Thank you for your time and consideration. Sincerely, WASHINGTON & ASSOCIATES, INC. Joseph T.
