Dear Mr. Adams:
Regarding our meeting today, the sample of the fencing that you furnished is an
unacceptable product for use of the six-foot high screen panels along the north and west
sides of the McCollister property.
The City of Coppell does not allow the use of what is commonly referred to as an "Eddy
Mann" stackable concrete fence. As I previously discussed with Ray Garrison and Tom
Cook on January 19th, the panels along the north and west sides of the McCollister
property are to be "exposed aggregate" panels of the same material as the building panels,
themselves, as represented on the Site Plan approved by City Council.
At the conclusion of our meeting, I indicated that there are two avenues, which you can
pursue regarding this subject - (1) the owner can petition City Council to change the
fencing requirement or (2) you can build the 6-foot panels of exposed aggregate as was
previously approved.
In closing, thank you for your understanding, and if you have any questions, please feel
free to contact the Planning Department at (972) 304-3678.
Sincerely,
a~iCn~P~ld Community Services
